The idea of transforming the Colombian image in the United States was born in the year 1983 in Union City, NJ with El Rinconcito Colombiano Restaurant and became even stronger 9 years later with the launch of Villa de Colombia located in the heart of Hackensack, NJ.
Our purpose is to let the World know the values of our country, exquisite kitchen, qualified products, rich culture and education.
The name Villa de Colombia restaurant was given by its own clients, which had seen the restaurant grow over the past 15 years. Originally the restaurant consisted of one room with a capacity of 20 people. In 1997 it was remodeled and well decorated into 2 rooms increasing the capacity to 90 people.
Villa de Colombia is the perfect place for our hispanic community. In the past, we have served as a voting center for the Colombian Presidential Elections and many others community and cultural events.
The familiar environment of our restaurant invites our guests to the elaboration of ideas that you see reflected in the different political, social and economical activities in Bergen County, NJ.
We have been awarded for promoting the Hispanic Unity which makes us proud and at the same time, the obligation to continue contributing to the community.
